Meet the Staff

Dr. Joel, a Savannah, TN native, received his degree from Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, Georgia in 1990. Durham Chiropractic was established November 2000, soon after Dr. Joel’s return to west Tennessee from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. His love of sports, fitness, and a healthy lifestyle motivated him to pursue a second degree, this time with the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, earning him the title Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician in 2002. Dr. Joel is a servant at heart.  As well as being an active member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association, Dr. Joel has served on their Board of Directors, and is a proud alumnus of Leadership Jackson. Durham Chiropractic has been awarded the coveted Chamber of Commerce Pinnacle Award for small business excellence, as well as a Civic Pride Award, and Reader's Choice Favorite Chiropractor.  

Laurinda is our office manager as well as our insurance guru.  A Lambuth University graduate, she has been on staff at Durham Chiropractic for over 9 years and loves her job here so much that she drives from Kentucky now just so she can continue to be a part of our team!

A Jackson native, and Lambuth University graduate, Ashley may be the first person you encounter at our office.  She brings enthusiasm and joy to everything she does, and is a delightful addition to our team.
